“Is he gonna be okay?” Nicki asked the doctor

“Yes, he should be fine, he just suffered a concussion but he should be up and running in a couple of days or so. But he shouldn’t be exactly running for a while.”

“Okay, can I go in to see him?”

“Yes, but he should be tired. His pain pills make him a little drowsy.”

“Okay, thank you Dr. Reynolds”

“Hey babe.” Nicki said to SB as she entered his hospital room

“Hey” said a groggy SB

“How you holing up hon?”

“Good, just sleepy”

“Okay babe get some sleep. I’m gonna go get some clothes and I’ll be back.”

“Whagt car are gonna take?”

“Oh damn, I forgot. I’m gonna go out here and call Candi. Go to sleep babe, I’ll be back.” Nicki said kissing SB on his forehead as he started to doze off.

“Can she pick up the phone for once in her life?!”

“Hello, you’ve reached the voicemail box of.”

“Shit, Candi answer the phone”  Nicki said getting annoyed that after the third time calling her.

“I can’t call my parents it’s too late. Lauren is in New York. Terrence.”

Nicki dialed Terrence’s number knowing he wasn’t gonna answer on the first call cause he never does, so she called again.”

“Hello?” Terrence answered annoyed

“T, I need you to come get me.”

“Where the hell is you at?”

“The hospital.”

“OMG, is everything okay?!”

“Yes, we just got in a car accident. Everything’s okay I just need somebody to come get me.”

“Okay, let me get rid of this man then I’ll be there.”

“You got a man at ya house?”

“Chile, I was tryna get rid of him. Thank God you called.”

“Alright” Nicki said through chuckles

“I’ll see you in about 30 mins”

Nicki sat in a chair near Safaree’s door so she could hear him if he called out for her. As she waited Dr. Reynolds came up to her.

“Is everything okay?” he asked Nicki

“Yes, just waiting for my ride to get here.”

“Oh, we could’ve had the shuttle take you.”

“Not to sound cocky but I am Nicki Minaj, I will not be riding in a shuttle” Dr. Reynold’s just laughed at her comment

“I understand Ms. Minaj”

“Yea”

“How are you and Safaree acquainted?”

“He’s my fiancée.”

“Oh.”

“Why?”

“I wanted to get to know you but since you’re getting married that wouldn’t be possible.”

“Thank you for respecting the fact that I’m engaged.”

“It would be inhuman to not respect that. Especially when the man you’re getting married to is only on the other side of this door we’re sitting in front of.”

“Thank you, it’s highly appreciated.”

“So, how long is your ride gonna take?”

“It should only be another 15 minutes.”

“I can stay and wait with you until they get here.”

“Don’t you have patients to get to?”

“Nah, it gets pretty boring around here at this time.”

“Oh, I see. Well, why don’t we talk about something since we’re just sitting here.”

“Okay what d’you wanna talk about?”

“Oh, anything but me seeing that I do that all the time.” Nicki said as a nurse began speaking into the intercom.
